I actually hated the film Snow White as a child. I had this fear of the witch archetype. Why not, witches often eat children or murder them all the while posing as old random strangers who offer people things (usually food, which is a theme in Grimm's Fairytales which were originally for adults). It's a beautiful visceral quality that art in this movie has. It's heavily painted and hand-drawn wheres today, everything is created in 3-D art on a computer. For me, Snow White is an unmet masterpiece now. It's a frame by frame animated and musically composed full-length feature film which is just as dark as it is bright and cliche. The pallet is classic and earthy, especially in the concept art for the movie. It was based on a forest illustration by a European Illustrator in another classic fairytale.
